Terumo Cardiovascular Systems Corporation (Terumo Cardiovascular Systems), a unit of Japan’s Terumo Corporation said in a state employment development department filing, that it will reduce 62 employees at its Tustin plant in May, according to Orange County Business Journal.

On August 19, 2008, Terumo Cardiovascular Systems announced plan to expand its Ann Arbor facility with $3.57 million and will relocate R&D and manufacturing from California by creating 65 jobs. Michigan Economic Development Corp. has approved a state employment tax credit valued at $0.85 million over seven years. In addition, the Township of Scio anticipates approving eight-year industrial property tax abatement within the next 60 days.
