Health care supply chain and contracting company Novation has granted a new three-year agreement to Teleflex Incorporated to provide its Weck Vista Bladeless Laparoscopic Access Ports.
The agreement, which will be effective from 1 April 2013 to 31 March 2016, will provide Novation’s members to gain access to Teleflex’s standard and optical ports that offer both smooth and ridged cannulas, balloon and cone open access ports, reusable obturators for cannula only options and insufflation needles.
The products are designed to help surgeons to increase visualization and stability while performing minimally invasive procedures, claims the company.
Teleflex surgical division president and general manager Jay White said, "Teleflex continues to collaborate with surgeons to offer high-quality products that are specially designed to meet the challenges faced in the operating room."
