Teleflex, a leading global provider of medical devices for critical care and surgery, has announced a renewed agreement with HealthTrust covering Central Venous Catheter (CVC) products, effective June 1, 2015.

Teleflex CVCs will be available to HealthTrust members, including 1,350 acute care facilities, as well as 15,000 ambulatory surgery centers, physician practices and alternate care facilities.

Through this agreement, HealthTrust members will have access to an extensive line of innovative ARROW CVC products, including the ARROW CVC with ARROWg+ard Technology and the ARROW JACC (Jugular Axillo-subclavian Central Catheter) with Chlorag+ard Technology.

ARROWg+ard Technology is a CDC 1A recommendation for the prevention of catheter-related bloodstream infection. The ARROW JACC with Chlorag+ard Technology is a small-french size antimicrobial and antithrombogenic catheter that is designed for both acute and long-term use.

ARROW CVC products utilize the Arrow ErgoPack System, a second generation vascular access maximal barrier bundle, incorporating an ergonomic approach to central line insertion and the latest in infection protection and sharps safety technology.

"At Teleflex, we are committed to providing high-quality, clinically relevant products that aim to enhance patient outcomes, reduce hospital costs and improve efficiencies," said Jay White, President and General Manager, Vascular Division.

White added, "We are pleased to continue achieving that goal through our relationship with HealthTrust and ensuring more hospitals have access to technologies that help protect patients as well as the hospital’s bottom line."
