Teleflex, Asklepios in ambIT PCA pump contract agreement

Teleflex Incorporated has signed a four-year contract agreement with Germany-based Asklepios Hospital Group for ambIT PCA pump.

The ambIT PCA pump is an electronically controlled PCA pump which allows the patient to be mobile while receiving care and can also be taken home for independent pharmacological management.

Teleflex said its regional anesthesia products facilitate clinicians to control pain during and after surgery and help lessen the risk of cardiovascular and pulmonary complications.

Teleflex EMEA president Liam Kelly said the contract is a great success for growing its European anesthesia business, which is in line with their global strategy.
