Teledyne DALSA, a Teledyne Technologies company, will introduce its new dynamic flat X-ray detector at the RSNA 2013 Technical Exhibition, 1 December to 5 December 2013, at McCormick Place in Chicago.

Teledyne DALSA’s latest advances in CMOS-based detectors for real time, low dose medical diagnostics will be on display at RSNA 2013 Technical Exhibition.

The Xineos-1515 features Teledyne DALSA’s next generation CMOS image sensor technology and delivers an unmatched combination of high sensitivity and high dynamic range operational modes from a single detector.

This latest Xineos detector features a pixel with 99 Micron resolution and a switchable saturation dose where X-ray technicians can choose between high sensitivity and extended dynamic range depending on the requirements of the procedure.

The extended field of view allows surgical teams a wider and more comprehensive overview of an operating scene.

This high-speed, low-power detector is capable of real-time (30 fps) imaging without the need for forced air or liquid coolers, which makes it an ideal choice for fixed as well as mobile interventional C-Arms, Fluoroscopy and 3D Orthopedic imaging systems.

Teledyne DALSA senior product manager Yves Kessener noted the company’s new Xineos detector signals its continued commitment to designing the industry’s highest performing CMOS X-ray detectors.

"Our versatile panels deliver the low-dose image quality standard of image-intensified CCD cameras with the form factor and workflow advantages of digital flat detectors," Kessener added.
