Tandem Diabetes Care, a provider of diabetes management devices, has announced the availability of its t:slim Insulin Pump to customers.
The t:slim Insulin Pump features an FDA-approved touch screen which provides a new approach to streamlined, easy-to-use interface that places everything at the touch of a finger.
The company said with slim, compact design, the t:slim Pump can be slipped into a pocket or worn discreetly under clothing.
Tandem Diabetes Care president and CEO Kim Blickenstaff said the company’s immediate objective is to help each customer obtain a t:slim Pump as quickly as possible.
"We have a dedicated insurance verification team ready to help each patient through the process on a case-by case basis," Blickenstaff added.
"Our goal is to help secure in-network coverage for the t:slim Pump, whether that is directly through Tandem, or through our expanding network of medical equipment distributors."
