Toshiba America Medical Systems (TAMS) has launched a 16 channels new Vantage Titan 1.5T MR Series.
Toshiba will also provide 8-channel and 32-channel systems which are now (works-in-progress (WIP)) .
The Vantage Titan 1.5T MR series is a scalable solution from the 8-channel system to the 32-channel system which is enhanced with a new, modern, sleek exterior, including new covers and soft, patient-soothing lighting around the bore.
Vantage Titan 8-channel MR features a 71 cm bore, Pianissimo noise reduction technology, advanced non-contrast imaging, integrated coils with Atlas Speeder technology and an intuitive M-Power user interface.
It is also equipped with a new patient transport gurney (WIP) which increases throughput by enabling safer patient transfers as critical care patients are moved into imaging position without being lifted.
The Vantage Titan’s 32-channel system with high slew rate gradients facilitates customers who require enhanced cardiac imaging with higher spatial and temporal resolution, allowing for better images of moving anatomy.
Toshiba MR Business Unit director Stuart Clarkson said now, healthcare facilities can acquire an 8-channel system today with the knowledge that it can be upgraded to a high-end 1.5T MR system that can meet future clinical needs.
