Syneron Beauty, a subsidiary of Syneron Medical, has received the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) approval for its new Tanda Luxe Light Emitting Diode device to treat periorbital wrinkles at home.
The Tanda Luxe is an over-the-counter treatment (OTC) device which combines red light therapy, sonic vibration and gentle warming to treat wrinkles, rhytides and fine lines around the periorbital (around the eye) region.
The red light therapy beams are delivered by a super-luminous LED array which tightens the skin and produces a fractional phototherapy effect which reverses signs of aging.
Syneron Beauty claims, Tanda Luxe is also proven to increase skin hydration by 15%.
