Chicago-based Sunstar Americas has introduced new Butler Prophyciency Prophy Angle with ButlerBloom Contouring Cup.
Prophyciency Prophy Angles feature a flexible flower-shaped cup, which the company claims caneasily contour to all tooth surfaces during the cleaning and polishing process, including facial, lingual, interproximal and sub-gingival.
Sunstar Americas senior marketing manager Evelina Leece said the company is offering dental professionals an innovative product, which will be a game changer for their practice.
"Butler Prophyciency Prophy Angles provide superior benefits to both the practitioner and patients and are sure to revolutionize the prophylaxis procedure," Leece added.
The new product is available in two versions, which include Clean & Polish and Polish.
The Clean & Polish version incorporate additional polishing and stain removing agents for effective stain removal, while Polish version offers better polishing experience for patients who have little or no staining who just need a polishing to complete the prophylaxis.
The company has showcased Butler Prophyciency Prophy Angle at the 2014 American Dental Association Annual Meeting in San Antonio, Texas.
