Suneva Medical, a privately-held aesthetic medical device company, has appointed Nicholas Teti as president and CEO.

Teti will lead the re-launch of Artefill, a microsphere-enhanced collagen filler for the correction of nasolabial folds, or smile lines, into the US marketplace.

Teti has 10 years of experience in the aesthetics space as the president and CEO of Inamed and he will continue to serve as chairman of the board.

Suneva vice chairman Todd Davis said that Teti has decades of industry experience and a proven leadership track record of growing companies and his expertise is critical to take Suneva to the next level of corporate growth and they are excited to have him join the senior management team.

Teti said that the prospects for both Suneva and Artefill are excellent and he was honored to lead the organisation through the period of growth and their teams are focused on four core areas as they look ahead to 2011.

“They are to expand the number of indications for Artefill, establish an international franchise to extend the brand globally, identify complementary products to add under the Suneva umbrella and deliver our customers the highest level of service and support,” Teti said.

“These are key drivers of our growth strategy and we are confident that we will make significant strides in each area in the months ahead.”
