Stryker (Suzhou) Medical Technology, a subsidiary of Stryker Corporation, has gone live with QAD Enterprise Applications to accelerate production at its expanding medical device manufacturing plant in China.
QAD is provider of enterprise business software and services for global manufacturing companies.
Stryker Suzhou manufactures instruments used in orthopedic-implant surgeries and plans to supply all of Stryker’s divisions.
By relying on QAD Applications Managed Services (AMS), Stryker Suzhou now can focus on its core business rather than its IT needs.
QAD said its AMS provides all of the services needed to support the system and help deliver to a 24 x 7 critical production environment.
QAD president and founder Pam Lopker said having focused on the manufacturing sector for more than three decades and offices in China for over 15 years, QAD offers medical device manufacturers in China cost effective systems to support manufacturing while meeting strict international regulatory requirements.
