Streamline Health Solutions, a provider of enterprise document workflow solutions for hospitals, has reported that a Canadian healthcare system will integrate Streamline Health's document workflow solutions into its existing enterprise clinical information system at an additional healthcare facility.

The integration helps to enable complete real-time patient electronic medical records (EMRs) at the Canadian Healthcare facility.

Streamline Health’s integrated solution is designed to deliver improved efficiencies by providing convenient electronic access, including secure web-based access to all forms of patient information from any location.

The integrated solution will offer critical features and functionality for physicians and healthcare providers to maintain and retrieve accurate, real-time, patient records within a streamlined health information exchange.

Streamline Health president and CEO Brian Patsy said the firm is committed to providing the technological tools that pave the way for the provision of world-class healthcare.

"We play an important role in integrating the various software solutions that medical institutions rely on to produce the real-time electronic medical data that leads to improved decision making for better medical outcomes, improved patient quality of life and reduced healthcare costs," Patsy said.

"The global healthcare industry is rapidly changing and the integration of our solutions can transform hospitals by optimizing business processes, improving patient care, cutting costs and driving a significant return on previous technology investments. We are pleased to serve this niche in the market that drives substantial value."
