Stentys, a medical technology company that is commercializing a new generation of stents to treat acute myocardial infarction (AMI), has launched the Stentys stents in four additional European countries: Scandinavia, Spain, Switzerland and Poland.

According to Stentys, the availability of the Stentys stents in four additional countries should contribute to Group revenues starting in the second half of the current financial year.

Stentys CEO and co-founder Gonzague Issenmann said their sales growth is in line with their business plan.

"The Stentys stents have been available in Germany and the Netherlands. There are now a total of six European countries in which patients who are suffering from a heart attack can be treated with the Stentys stents," Issenmann said.
