SRS Medical, a manufacturer of urology and gynecology devices, has named Lee Brody as new chief executive officer (CEO).

Previously, Brody worked as the company’s chief operating officer.

In the new role, Brody will focus on the company’s new product, CT3000 non-invasive pressure-flow system.

SRS Medical CEO Lee Brody said the company is pleased with the clinical success of the CT3000 and believes its widespread use results in better diagnosis and outcomes.

"The CT3000 complements our company’s long history of excellence and innovation in urology, across urodynamics, ultrasound and related product lines," Brody added.

Brody will also work with the company’s management team on expanding collaborations and acquiring new products.

SRS Medical said it has also extended its partnership with MediPlus on the CT3000 and other clinical products.
