The Government of Canada also announced a $2.46m investment in the company via the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency’s Atlantic Innovation Fund.

Levitation is a compact and light-weight brace, which combines the company's advanced hinge and bionic spring technology.

It can reduce muscle fatigue, enhance strength and performance, by absorbing, storing and then releasing energy in an adjustable way.

Levitation bionic knee brace has been developed to be used by individuals with knee osteoarthritis, knee injuries and athletes, as well as working in the skilled trades.

The company is planning to establish commercial partnerships with clinics, distributors, and brace retailers across Canada to distribute the Levitation bionic knee brace.

Spring Loaded Technology has developed a new knee bracing technology that can be used in a range of applications, including mobility assistance, fatigue reduction, injury prevention/rehabilitation, and performance enhancement.
