Houston Orthopedic & Spine Hospital and Spine Associates of Houston has entered into a purchase agreement for Mazor Robotics' Renaissance System.
The Renaissance system comprises a robotic device which mounts above a patient’s spine and an advanced surgical planning software.
Spine Associates spine surgeon Richard Francis said he is convinced that the Renaissance system’s accuracy and safety will enhance outcomes for their patients suffering with advanced deformities and severe scoliosis.
Mazor Robotics CEO Ori Hadomi said they are finding that surgeons and administrators are very well informed about Renaissance and appreciate how it can help to distinguish their centers as well as improve outcomes for their patients.
