Spacelabs Healthcare, a healthcare division of OSI Systems, has received a contract from HealthTrust Purchasing Group for its patient monitoring solutions.

Under the contract, Spacelabs will provide its patient monitors and connectivity solutions to HealthTrust’s membership including 1,400 hospitals nationwide.

HealthTrust is a group purchasing organization which supports nearly 1,400 not-for-profit and for-profit acute care facilities, 10,600 ambulatory surgery centers, physician practices, and alternate care sites.

OSI Systems CEO Deepak Chopra said they are pleased to collaborate with HealthTrust and look forward to provide its members their latest patient monitoring and connectivity solutions to enable the delivery of high quality care.

"We now have access to member hospitals and surgery centers that typically choose to only buy through the network of suppliers contracted with HealthTrust," Chopra added.

Spacelabs’ modular, configured monitors and telemetry systems help in decision-making and also provide immediate access to comprehensive patient data when and where needed, thus improving patient care.

Spacelabs said sophisticated clinical tools are incorporated into their monitors which help optimize care and efficiency, and connectivity solutions assure reliable performance throughout network.
