Spacelabs Healthcare, a division of OSI Systems, has won $4.5m contract from a medical center based in Houston, Texas, US.

Under the contract, Spacelabs will provide its Xprezzon patient monitoring system, as well as ICS G2 software applications.

The company said Xprezzon can be accessed with a single touch, while ICS G2 software can provide connectivity throughout the hospital.

OSI Systems CEO Deepak Chopra said, "We are excited about the opportunity to provide Spacelabs’ latest solutions for patient monitoring and connectivity and look forward to supporting this customer’s vital technology implementations in the future."

Spacelabs’ modular, configured monitors and telemetry systems help in decision-making and also provide immediate access to comprehensive patient data when and where needed, thus improving patient care.
