Southern Orthopaedic Surgeons, a provider of orthopaedic services, has chosen SRS' electronic health record (EHR) for its 11 providers.
SRS provides EHR technology and services via the unified desktop, the EHR, SRS CareTracker PM and SRS PACS.
Southern Orthopaedic Surgeons MD Roland Hester said the company’s EHR selection committee looked at a variety of EHRs, many of which required so many clicks to document a patient encounter that it would slow its productivity dramatically.
"The SRS EHR satisfies the needs of our very busy physicians by minimizing the amount of pointing and clicking necessary to document and collect clinical data, thus enabling us to achieve our desired goal of delivering the best patient care in the most efficient manner," Hester added.
