Sorin Group, a provider of medical devices in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, has acquired Gish Biomedical from Ventizz Capital Partners, a private equity group focused on technology-oriented companies.

Sorin Group focuses on three major therapeutic areas that include: cardiopulmonary bypass (extracorporeal circulation and autotransfusion systems), cardiac rhythm management and heart valve repair and replacement.

Based in California, Gish Biomedical designs and manufactures disposable medical devices for cardiovascular surgery, with a focus on the Perfusionist.
