Solvay Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Solvay), an in vitro diagnostics company, has appointed Barry Hayter as general manager, Canada. In his new position, Hayter will lead the management team in providing innovative research, medical products and services that benefit patients and the healthcare system. Hayter replaces Graham Jobson, who is now human resources manager in commercial operations for Solvay in Hanover, Germany. Hayter has breadth of management experience in the healthcare sector.

Hayter has breadth of management experience in the healthcare sector, having worked in the pharmaceutical industry since 1983.
Prior to accepting his current role, he worked as senior area director for Solvay Pharmaceuticals in South and South East Asian countries.
