Solta Medical has launched a new second generation non-invasive fat reduction device using high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU), Liposonix system.
Solta said clinical studies have showed an average waist circumference reduction of approximately 2.6 cm after a single Liposonix treatment.
Laser & Skin Surgery Center director and New York University Medical Center dermatology clinical professor Roy Geronemus said Solta products have been go-to treatment solutions for the center’s patients looking for non-invasive options for everything from skin resurfacing and tightening to preventative and maintenance care to slow down the aging process to clearing acne and now fat reduction.
Solta Medical president and CEO Stephen Fanning said more than two million treatments is an important milestone for the company.
