Solos Endoscopy has reported $51,630 in breast endoscopy sales during the period of June through August 2011, a 32% increase compared to the previous year.

Solos recently reported an increase in demand for its new MammoView instrument line.

The Solos Mammoview Breast Endoscopy System is designed to distinguish and inspect suspicious pre-cancerous lesions undetectable by other methods.

The instrument aids physicians to diagnose and treat breast cancer before physical exams, surgery, or other external imaging can reveal evidence of the disease.

The Solos Breast Endoscopy System uses an advanced microendoscopes and optical technology to provide clear images of the milk ducts, where the majority of the breast cancers arise.

Solos Endoscopy president Bob Segersten said they expect to see continued sales improvement in the fourth quarter.
