Siemens Healthcare (Siemens) and Vertec Scientific (Vertec) have entered into a distribution agreement. As per the deal, Vertec will market Siemens' X Class range of ultrasound systems in the UK markets of emergency medicine, GP practices, rheumatology, orthopaedics, acute medicine, chest medicine and anaesthetics.
Under the terms of agreement, Vertec is likely to sell the ultrasound systems whereas Siemens’ engineers are expected to maintain the technology.
