Earlier this year, Shields MRI began an evaluation of its MRI program and equipment to ensure that radiologists are using the most sophisticated technology. With satisfied CADstream users at its Wellesley and Lahey Clinic facilities since 2006, Shields MRI compared the next generation of CADstream (version 5) with all other MRI-CAD systems.

“During our program review process, our team quickly learned CADstream continues to be the standard in MRI-CAD,” said James Holland, Purchasing Manager, Shields Healthcare Group. “We were so pleased with the next generation CADstream platform that we decided to expand our use of CADstream and standardize our MRI program by integrating 9 systems into or 21-facility network.”

Holland adds, “We are also impressed with Confirma’s dedication to workflow innovation with new applications prostate and liver available on the next generation platform, and work-list level integrations in development with industry-leading PACS systems. Confirma continues to listen to customers and delivers the best in MRI-CAD, along with exceptional customer support.”
