With a focus on customer productivity and wide area radiology

Sectra launches a new breast imaging PACS workstation built on Sectra RapidConnect technology at RSNA 2009. With this next-generation mammography workstation, Sectra focuses on customer productivity and wide area radiology.

At RSNA 2009, the company introduces an entirely new mammography workstation built on Sectra RapidConnect technology. The new release combines mammography workflow which allows reading from remote locations while maintaining full productivity.

Sectra RapidConnect, a core component in Sectra PACS, is a patent-pending technology that allows physicians to cooperate and efficiently share the workload at full productivity from other hospitals or from home on a global basis, also for large volumes and poor networks.

Maria Liljeqvist, product manager at Sectra, said:“We are very pleased that all the benefits that our customers derive from our next-generation PACS and RapidConnect can now also be offered for mammography.”
