Secant Medical, a business unit of Prodesco, is set to display technology of biomedical textiles at the BIOMEDevice Exposition and Conference in Boston, Massachusetts, US, from 25-26 April 2012.
Secant Medical uses metallic and polymeric biomaterials to design biomedical textile structures for medical devices including orthopedic, cardiovascular, tissue-engineered neurological devices and new general surgery resources.
Secant Medical business development director Ryan Heniford said the company partners with its clients to create minimally invasive textile component designs.
"Our engineers strategically design textiles with the right combination of advanced biomaterials, textile forming technologies and fabric geometries to enable your device design," Heniford added.
