US-based nonprofit integrated health system Scripps Health has chosen Wolters Kluwer Health's order set authoring and management solution to provide its clinicians with evidence-based order sets at the point of care.

The ProVation Order Sets solution, which is powered by UpToDate Decision Support, provides flexible integration into clinical processes to streamline the delivery of standardized care for improved patient safety, outcomes, clinician performance and regulatory compliance.

Wolters Kluwer said its ProVation Order Sets offer a benefit of continuous updating of clinical content and medical evidence, including direct links to UpToDate.

Wolters Kluwer Health clinical documentation vice president and general manager Mike Haldane said, "Scripps Health is a leader in healthcare delivery, as evidenced by its many awards and honors."

Scripps Health, which includes five acute-care hospital campuses, a network of 23 integrated outpatient clinics, home health services and 2,600 affiliated physicians, offers services to customers of the southern coast of California.
