Sanomedics is planning to introduce TempMature 'TouchFree' talking family thermometer for use by adults at the AARP Orlando@50 Member Conference, 30 September - 2 October 2010.

As it is TouchFree, the TempMature thermometer helps to avoid the spread of illness between patients and family members by limiting contact and cross-contamination, the company said.

Sanomedics co-founder and president Keith Houlihansaid that TempMature ‘TouchFree’ represents a significant home diagnostic medical device advancement for adults over the age of 50 and according to age one’s needs for easy to use, safe, accurate and reliable diagnostic home medical devices that are visually and audio friendly, make their thermometer the choice for individuals over age 50 anywhere a fast, precise temperature is needed.

Sanomedics co-founder and chairman Craig Sizer said that TempMature ‘TouchFree’ will have a positive impact on the way in which adults can quickly assess if additional medical care is needed.

“With three strains of flu virus anticipated this year, and the Old Farmers Almanac predicting a cold winter in many parts of the country, adults will be more exposed to colds and other easily spread viruses. Our ‘TouchFree’ easy-to-use thermometer is just what they need,” Sizer said.
