Rochester Medical Implants, a manufacturer of orthopaedic implants and precision products, has moved its manufacturing operations and corporate offices to their new facility in Noblesville, Indiana.

As the company is changing the location, it is palnning to change its name to RMI.

The 33,000 ft² new facility provides increased capacity and opportunity for enhanced capabilities and services.

The company said all CNC equipment has been relocated and additional capital purchases are planned.

RMI president Jim Evans said it has made improvements in its capabilities and services and their customers are really beginning to take notice.

RMI’s core competencies include fully integrated services in CAD/CAM engineering, 5-axis CNC milling, turning and wire EDM, process development, material sourcing, laser marking, assembly and packaging.
