Roche Diagnostics has launched a new LightCycler Nano real-time PCR system for use in research in the US.
The Nano system features a 32-well format and a software that is compatible with Windows-PC operating systems and Macintosh.
The new LightCycler instrument utilizes the same technology of the LightCycler portfolio and provides high quality data in qPCR, genotyping, and high resolution melting on a small platform.
The system also uses optics and thermal control to provide a low variation of well-to-well performance.
Roche Diagnostics marketing vice president Brigitte Fernandes-McAlear said this compact platform should satisfy the needs of many PCR researchers by fitting well into their work environment while delivering excellent results.
