The point-of-care solution will be used by Responsive Health’s nurses to automate wound assessments, documentation and reporting and create care plans based on clinical best practices.

The solution is also expected to save time, reduce facility-acquired pressure ulcers, lower wound care costs and decrease re-hospitalizations.

Responsive Health Management nurse consultant Marion Godoy said the company has chosen WoundRounds to standardize documentation and improve wound prevention and management.

"WoundRounds’ data-sharing and wound photography enables our care teams to provide better wound care for our residents,"Godoy added.

WoundRounds CEO Mike Diamond said, "The partnership with Responsive Health Management expands the geography coverage of WoundRounds beyond our US roots to include Canada."
