This certification enables medical practitioners in Korea to provide a higher standard of care by getting quick, secure mobile access to images from a range of image storage systems using ResolutionMD with their web, iOS or Android devices.

Medical staff can feel confident using a tool certified by the governing agency in Korea.

Obtaining certification from the MFDS means that ResolutionMD, the world’s leading enterprise image-viewing solution can now be sold and used in Korea. The certification process was lengthy, involving an on-site audit and product and manufacturer quality evaluations.

The certificate follows ResolutionMD’s FDA Class II clearance in the US, CFDA certification in China, PDMA certification in Japan, MDCO certification in Hong Kong, CE marking in Europe, TGA certificate in Australia and Health Canada license.

"Obtaining this MFDS certificate in Korea is another significant milestone for Calgary Scientific," said Pierre Lemire, CTO and EVP, Products at Calgary Scientific.

"We are seeing great demand for ResolutionMD throughout Asia as the adoption of mobile devices continues to grow at a significant pace. I am very pleased that healthcare providers in Korea can now leverage our fully accredited web and mobile solution to get faster image access resulting in better patient care."

ResolutionMD enables doctors to securely view patient images and reports from a wide variety of computers and mobile devices, collaborate with other practitioners and diagnose from any location.
