Randox Laboratories has introduced new Acusera high sensitivity troponin T control to detect Myocardial Infarction (MI).

The new control facilitates clinical laboratories to accurately assess and monitor the performance of their high sensitivity troponin T (hsTnT) assay.

The troponin T control has ultra low Troponin T levels and has target values of around 16.5ng/l (range 12.4 – 20.6ng/l) and are closest to the 14ng/ml cut off.

The troponin T control has a shelf life of up to 4 years which facilitates to use the same lot of control material for longer thus reducing the problems associated with lot crossovers.

A reconstituted stability of 5 days at +2 – +8oC or 4 weeks at -20oC minimises unnecessary waste and provides cost savings.

Randox also manufactures a liquid cardiac control with assayed values for an impressive 10 cardiac markers including Troponin I and Troponin T, NT-ProBNP, hsCRP, Myoglobin, Homocysteine , Digoxin, BNP, CK-MB, D-dimer.
