Quest Diagnostics has appointed Stephen Rusckowski as the new president and chief executive officer (CEO), effective 1 May 2012.
Previously, Rusckowski held various management positions with the healthcare division of Hewlett-Packard/Agilent Technologies.
Rusckowski served as CEO of Philips Healthcare, since 2006, and has also been a member of the board of management of Royal Philips Electronics and its executive committee.
The company also announced that Daniel Stanzione, currently company’s lead independent director, will become non-executive chairman of the board, effective 1 May 2012.
Quest Diagnostics non-executive chairman Daniel Stanzione said Rusckowski’s emphasis on operational excellence has enabled to deliver impressive results.
