The portable system has been developed to provide flexibility to dialysis patients and physicians by supporting all treatment regimens, from nurse-assisted care and patient self-care in-centre to home haemodialysis.
According to the company, the compact haemodialysis system includes technology that integrates all fluid management activities onto a single-use disposable cartridge.
Quanta Fluid Solutions CEO John Milad said: "This is an exciting time for Quanta. Obtaining the CE mark for SC+ is a major milestone forus and is a testament to the ingenuity and engineering excellence of our team.
"Our system will provide meaningful benefits to patients and healthcare providers in terms of ease-of-use, flexibility and performance."
The company also announced that it has raised additional funds, expanding its investment round to a total of £29m.
Established in 2008, the firm develops and markets haemodialysis systems for use in the clinic and the home.
