Hollister Incorporated, a global healthcare products and services company, was awarded two competitive-bid, group-purchasing contracts with Premier Inc.
Premier is a leading healthcare improvement company, uniting an alliance of approximately 3,750 U.S. hospitals and 130,000 other providers to improve health for communities.
The contracts include a dual-source agreement for selling ostomy products within Premier’s Enterostomal Therapy Products category, and a sole-source agreement for providing Hollister ostomy products to Premier’s ASCEND members (who receive group purchasing programs, tiers and prices specifically negotiated for them).
In the first, dual-source agreement, Hollister and one other supplier were selected. In the second, sole-source agreement, Hollister was the only vendor selected from several.
Effective January 1, 2017, all Premier members can take advantage of special pricing and terms pre-negotiated by Premier for products in its Enterostomal Therapy Products category. Premier members selected the awarded suppliers based on their ability to meet clinical performance criteria.
