ProScan Imaging has installed Hitachi Medical Systems' Oval High-Field 1.5T MR system at its Eastgate facility in Cincinnati, Ohio, US.
The Echelon system, which features74cm oval shaped bore, is designed to provide the optimal patient experience with comfort, space and efficiency.
ProScan Imaging chief operating officer Mark Grossman said the Echelon Oval High-Field system was chosen because of its quality, advanced technology and patient focus.
"Bringing this new technology to Cincinnati and introducing its capabilities to the world demonstrates ProScan’s commitment to innovation, patient comfort and satisfaction," Grossman added.
Hitachi Medical Systems MRI vice president and general manager Sheldon Schaffer said, "We are very excited about our relationship with ProScan Imaging and are proud to see our first Echelon Oval installation in a facility dedicated to the best patient experience, service, excellence and quality."
