ProHealth Care, a provider of community health services in Waukesha County, Wisconsin and surrounding areas, recently selected Medline Industries as its exclusive distribution partner for medical and surgical supplies.
Clinicians at ProHealth Care’s two main hospitals and surgery center will receive products through Medline’s extensive distribution capabilities. The five-year agreement is expected to be worth approximately $50m over the course of the deal.
ProHealth Care materials management vice president Rick Meier noted Medline created customized solutions to address some of its biggest challenges surrounding logistics, products and cost savings.
"With each step and each scenario, Medline has shown success and this makes us even more confident they will continue to deliver meaningful results," Meier added.
Medline will deliver an array of significant efficiencies and cost savings to help the integrated health care system better monitor and control costs. The company will also provide a broad assortment of its Medline brand products, as well as other national brand supplies directly to ProHealth Care from its Libertyville distribution center.
