Prime Healthcare Services has completed the acquisition of MedCath's interests in the Medical Center located in Harlingen, Texas.
The Harlingen Medical Center is a 112-bed acute care hospital.
Prime Healthcare chairman Prem Reddy said that they completed the transaction with MedCath and look forward to working with the new partners to improve the care provided at Harlingen Medical Center.
"we look forward to continue the relationships with the local physicians and community that have been developed at the Medical Center," Reddy said.
