PositiveID’s iglucose system is a wireless communication solution that facilitates diabetes management by automatically creating logs and journals.
The device wirelessly communicates data from data-capable glucometers to the iglucose database, at which point blood glucose readings can be shared with family members and health care professionals.
iglucose has not been cleared for sale by the US Food and Drug Administration.
PositiveID will feature the device at the American Telemedicine Association Annual International Meeting and Exhibition 2011 in Tampa, Florida, 1-3 May.
