PolyRemedy, Inc. (PolyRemedy), a wound care management company, has appointed Jeffrey S. Jones as chief operating officer (COO) of the company. Jones, a seasoned healthcare executive, joined the PolyRemedy management team in January 2009. Before joining PolyRemedy, Jones served as COO at Reliant Technologies. While there, Jones built strong operations, product engineering, regulatory, quality assurance and an in-house medical clinic to support product launches.

Earlier, Jones was COO at LuMend, Inc., Redwood City, Calif., an interventional cardiology medical device company and vice president of operations at EP Technologies, a subsidiary of Boston Scientific Corporation. Earlier in his career, Jones held various management roles, including director of Fiber Products Group at Coherent Inc., Palo Alto, California, a medical laser system company, and manager of Test and Test Engineering at Hughes Aircraft Company, Fullerton, Calif. Jones was also a captain in the US Army.

Jones received a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the United States Military Academy, West Point, NY, and an MBA from Golden Gate University, San Francisco.
