PeriGen has named Matthew Sappern as the company's new chief executive officer (CEO).
Sappern served as a Client Sales senior vice president at Allscripts and in 2010 following its merger with Eclipsys, he served as a corporate officer and senior vice president of professional services for directing the services division.
After serving at WebMD, Time Warner, Primedia and Young & Rubicam, he served as Technology Solution Services’ senior vice president of Eclipsys in 2003.
PeriGen’s perinatal suite includes the PeriBirth clinical decision support system for obstetrics and the PeriCalm fetal monitoring solution.
PeriGen Board of Directors member and Galen Partners MD David Jahns said they are confident that Matt Sappern will expand PeriGen’s market footprint so that the breadth and depth of its clinical decision support technologies can touch more patients and improve the bottom line at more healthcare systems in North America and around the world.
