The office will be headed by managing director Javier Rodriguez.
Rodriguez served over 15 years with a aesthetic laser company as managing director for Spain and Portugal.
Palomar CEO Joseph Caruso said earlier this month they have announced the opening of their direct office in Germany.
"We now have a strong direct selling team in both Northern and Southern Europe," Caruso said.
Rodriguez said they look forward to establish a strong customer base and expand that base with additional product offerings in the future.
Palomar received the first US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance for the treatment of stretch marks using a fractional non-ablative laser in December 2009 and a fractional ablative and fractional non-ablative combination treatment in September 2010.
Palomar also received a 510(k) over-the-counter (OTC) FDA clearance for a new patented home-use light-based hair removal device in December 2006 and laser device for the treatment of periorbital wrinkles in June 2009.
