Olympus, a provider of endoscopy devices, has launched a new, peracetic acid-based high-level disinfectant and sterilant - Acecide-C.
Acecide-C is an aldehyde-free, liquid chemical germicide which is designed for use in Olympus Endoscope Reprocessor (OER-Pro) which provides disinfection in just 7 minutes.
Acecide-C’s easy-to-handle cassette bottles easily loads liquid chemical germicide, reducing exposure, thus increasing safety of the operator.
Acecide-C, once loaded into the OER-Pro, can be used up to five days or when the minimum recommended concentration of 2000 ppm has been reached.
