Under the agreement, Spiracur will supply non-powered advanced negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) products and related accessories to VHA., UHC, and Provista, LLC members which are served by Novation.
Novation’s members will have access to Spiracur’s SNaP Wound Care System and supplies including the new SNaP BLUE Foam Dressing Kit.
The FDA cleared SNaP System is used to treat patients suffering from acute wounds, chronic wound types including diabetic, venous or pressure and surgically closed incisions, flaps and grafts.
Spiracur sales vice president Dane Shackleford said partnering with Novation provides Spiracur access to VHA’s 1,400 not-for-profit hospitals and 25,000+ non-acute healthcare organizations as well as 90 percent of the nation’s nonprofit academic medical centers represented by UHC.
