Nightingale Informatix Corporation announced that it has been selected to provide its web-based OntarioMD Certified Nightingale On Demand EMR to the North Burlington Medical Centre.
The North Burlington Medical Centre recently updated its facilities with a new and larger location, additional physicians and expanded medical services for the community. Nightingale On Demand will allow the Centre to transition away from paper charts to a completely electronic medical environment. It will be used by more than 30 full and part-time physicians providing family practice, pediatrics and walk-in (urgent care) medical services with over 75,000 patients visits per year.

Nightingale On Demand is a web based EMR and practice management system so the clinic does not need to invest money on server hardware and software or to manage system maintenance and security issues. All of these services are included in the North Burlington Medical Centre contract which is for a period of 60 months and targeted to go live in the summer of 2009.
