Nordtest to display PTI package integrity leak test system

Nordtest SRL, a European agent of PTI Inspection System, is set to display PTI's VeriPac 425 package integrity leak test system for medical devices.

PTI provides inspection systems for package integrity testing, seal integrity, leak testing and container closure integrity testing (CCIT).

PTI said its inspection systems provide repeatable, reliable results and as they are non-destructive, non-invasive and require no sample preparation, they can be used at any point in the manufacturing process.

PTI Inspection Technologies vice president Oliver Stauffer said VeriPac systems can be easily integrated into the packaging process to improve quality, reduce waste, and provide operators with a clear understanding of package quality.

"VeriPac inspection systems uses an ASTM approved vacuum decay leak test method recognized by the FDA as a consensus standard for package integrity testing," Stauffer said.

PTI’s VeriPac 425 system is being displayed at IPACK-IMA exhibition in Milan, Italy from 28 February to 3 March 2012.
