The ZM-520 model monitors ECG and respiration, the ZM-530 model monitors ECG, respiration and SpO2.

Nihon Kohden America vice president Mike Dashefsky said they believe this new generation of transmitters allows the clinicians to have better information at the point of care which allows quicker intervention and lead to better outcomes.

The new ambulatory transmitters are available for demonstration at NTI in Chicago from 3-5 May 2011.
