Nextremity Solutions has received ISO 13485 and CE mark accreditation for its Nextra Hammertoe Correction System.
Nextremity Solutions provides different approaches to surgically correct degeneration of bones, small bone deformity and trauma.
The company’s other product includes Nextra Hammertoe Correction Implant.
Nextremity Solutions president and CEO Arthur Alfaro said they are proud to obtain ISO certification at such an early stage in the company’s development and conform to a quality standard for medical devices.
"The additional CE mark certification of the Nextra Hammertoe system allows us to now initiate the commercial release of our surgical procedure kit and implant for treating a foot deformity," Alfaro said.
